Dr. Shannon Albarellil, PSY.D.

Focused on blending art and science to address anxiety, stress management, mental wellness and productivity.

Background
After graduating from Brown University with a major in psychology, Dr. Albarelli completed a doctoral degree from William James College in clinical psychology, specializing in health. In addition to her private therapy practice Dr. Albarelli is a consultant and motivational speaker to numerous Fortune 1000 companies and is co-working with Dr. Elizabeth Schroeder, MD of Robert Wood Johnson hospital to research the impact of meditation on the outcome of surgery patients.

Personal Experience
Understanding how to navigate stress took on a very personal angle recently for Dr. Albarelli. In 2018, in a tragic accident, her husband died leaving behind their 2 sons ages 3 and 5 at the time. Learning how to manage the layers of complexity of this unexpected trauma has challenged Dr. Albarelli’s perspective on wellness and has helped guide her work and compassion for her clients. In addition, she now has a blended family and can speak to intricacies of these family dynamics.
